Personal data

Die Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) regelt die Verarbeitung von personenbezogenen Daten. Personenbezogene Daten sind alle Informationen, die sich auf eine identifizierte oder identifizierbare natürliche Person beziehen (Art. 4 Nr. 1 DSGVO). Rein technische Informationen ohne Bezug zu einer identifizierten oder identifizierbaren Person sind demgegenüber grundsätzlich keine personenbezogenen Daten.
 

When downloading the app

When the app is downloaded and installed, the respective platform operator, namely the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, also processes personal data. This may include, in particular, data such as the IP address, device information, account details associated with the relevant store account, as well as other information required to provide and operate the app store.

This data processing is carried out by the respective platform operators under their own responsibility pursuant to applicable data protection law. We have no influence over this data processing. Information about data protection at the platform operators is available at:

When using the app

The app is used exclusively for:

• connecting to technical sensors via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• configuring these sensors; 
• and displaying and storing technical measurement data locally.

We do not collect, store or analyse personal data when the app is used. The app processes only technical device data and measurement data for communication with the sensors. Processing takes place locally on the user’s device. The app does not transmit any data to us or to third parties.

Usage statistics and stability

The platform operators provide us exclusively with aggregated, non-personal statistical information about the use and technical stability of the app. This may include, in particular:

• the number of installations;
• crash rates and technical quality information;
• device categories and operating system versions;
• and aggregated session and usage statistics.

It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons from this information.

Additional functions or integration of external services

The app does not use cookies, tracking technologies or external analysis or statistics services. No other external services are integrated.

4. Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation grants data subjects various rights, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR).No personal data is processed in connection with the use of the app. 

Nevertheless, we include this information to provide you with comprehensive information about your rights under the GDPR.Your rights against the respective platform operators in relation to the data processing carried out by them under their own responsibility remain unaffected.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Notice where this becomes necessary due to legal, technical or organisational changes.
